Toscana is defined by a large rounded opal-glass dome supported by a chrome frame and chrome detailing. Its shape is simple and immediately recognisable, while the contrast between translucent glass and reflective metal gives the lamp visual depth. At 52 cm high and 28 cm in diameter, Toscana has enough presence to contribute to an interior while remaining practical as a table lamp.
Opal glass creates smooth, comfortable light
The Toscana dome is made from opal glass. Its pale translucent surface conceals the individual bulbs and diffuses their light more evenly into the surrounding room. It also reduces direct glare, making Toscana suitable for softer supplementary and ambient illumination.
The rounded dome is both the main visual element and the principal light-diffusing surface. When illuminated, the glass reads as one coherent glowing form rather than exposing two separate bright bulbs.
Chrome provides a reflective counterpoint to the softly illuminated glass. The design is therefore based on two clearly contrasting surfaces: luminous opal glass and polished metallic detailing.
Two E27 bulbs within one glass dome
Toscana uses two E27 lamp holders with a maximum rating of 40 W per bulb. Bulbs are not included.
The replaceable format allows the final colour temperature and luminous output to be selected according to the room. Using two matching bulbs helps maintain consistent light colour and brightness across the opal-glass dome.
Because the glass acts as a shared diffuser for both light sources, the two bulbs work together visually as one broader source of soft light.
Rounded design for a furnishing surface
At 52 cm high and 28 cm in diameter, Toscana is a substantial table lamp without requiring the space of a floor-standing fixture. The rounded glass dome creates a soft silhouette, while the chrome frame gives the lamp a clearly defined structure.
The power switch is positioned on the cord, keeping operation familiar and straightforward. Toscana can be used as an individual table lamp or combined with the matching floor version to repeat the same materials and rounded visual language at different heights.
The same Toscana design in a floor lamp
The Toscana range includes both table and floor lamps. Each version combines chrome, opal glass and a rounded design, making the two lamps natural companions within the same interior.
The table lamp brings the illuminated opal-glass form to furnishing level, while the larger Toscana Floor Lamp creates a higher light point using the same visual vocabulary.
