Torch combines a tall, clean-lined structure with a large curved glass shade at the top. The shade is the defining visual feature: its soft, onion-like form contrasts with the straight vertical line below and gives the 167 cm floor lamp a distinctive silhouette. The fixture is designed as a general ambient light source, distributing light evenly around the room rather than concentrating it into a directional beam.
With a diameter of 30 cm, Torch retains a relatively compact footprint for a floor lamp of this height. It is therefore easy to position beside a sofa or within a living-room furniture arrangement while still having enough height and volume to contribute clearly to the interior.
Smoked or champagne glass changes the character
Torch is available in two colour combinations. The black version is paired with smoked glass, while the brass-coloured version uses champagne glass. The same curved shade and tall proportions are shared by both versions.
Smoked glass gives Torch a darker, more graphic presence. Champagne glass creates a warmer visual effect alongside the brass-coloured finish. The choice therefore changes the overall atmosphere of the lamp without altering its proportions or lighting concept.
The glass shade is also central to the way Torch presents its light. Illumination remains visible inside the shade and spreads through the glass into the surrounding room.
The visible E27 bulb becomes part of the design
Torch uses one E27 lamp holder with a maximum rating of 40 W. The bulb is not included, allowing the luminous output and colour temperature to be selected according to the room and surrounding lighting.
Because the light source can be seen through the glass shade, the appearance of the bulb matters as well as its technical output. A filament-style LED bulb is particularly well suited to Torch and reinforces the slightly retro character of the design.
The replaceable E27 format also makes it easy to alter the lighting later. Changing the bulb can adjust both the colour of the light and the visual character inside the glass shade without replacing the floor lamp itself.
Even ambient light for living spaces
Torch is designed to spread light evenly around the room as an ambient and general supplementary light source. Rather than acting as a focused reading lamp, it adds a softer layer of illumination around the surrounding furniture and complements other light sources in the room.
Its 167 cm height lifts the light source above typical table and seating levels, while the large glass shade remains clearly visible from across the room. This balance makes Torch as much a furnishing element as a source of evening light.
The power switch is located on the cord. As a freestanding floor lamp, Torch can also be repositioned when the furniture layout or lighting needs change.
