Veska 1 is built around an unusual but simple shade profile. Its curved form resembles an inverted taco when viewed from the side, while the replaceable G9 bulb sits within the white inner section. The diffuser-like interior smooths the light so the illuminated surface appears more uniform than a small exposed bulb would suggest.
A narrow pendant with a distinctive curved profile
Veska 1 measures 40 cm high, 10 cm wide and 24 cm deep. Rather than using the broad circular proportions common to many pendants, its slim 10 cm width gives the fixture a much narrower visual footprint.
The matt black exterior clearly outlines the curved shape, while the white interior forms a light surface around the bulb. The restrained two-tone finish keeps attention on the geometry rather than decorative detailing.
This combination makes Veska 1 particularly useful when a pendant should have a recognisable form without occupying a broad area at ceiling level.
White interior smooths the replaceable G9 light
Veska 1 uses one replaceable G9 LED bulb with a maximum rating of 5 W. The bulb is not included. The white inner section smooths the light, giving the fixture an appearance closer to a continuous illuminated surface even though the light source itself remains replaceable.
The replaceable G9 format allows the bulb to be selected within the fixture’s stated specification. At the same time, the curved shade keeps the small lamp source integrated into the visual structure rather than making it the dominant feature.
Fine-tune the shade around its axis
The Veska 1 shade can be adjusted slightly around its own axis. This small degree of movement allows the final orientation of the curved profile to be fine-tuned after installation.
Because the shade is asymmetrical rather than round, even a subtle change in orientation affects how the pendant is viewed from different directions. The adjustment therefore helps position the shape in relation to the surrounding furniture and primary viewing angle.
Three-metre suspension and the Veska family
Veska 1 has a 3-metre adjustable cord, providing generous flexibility when setting the hanging height.
The wider Veska family includes two pendant models. Veska 1 uses a single light point, while Veska 8 is the larger pendant with eight light points and rotating arms. The collection also includes table, floor and wall lights. Across the family, the current finish is matt black with a white shade interior, creating a consistent visual identity between different fixture types.
