Float Group is built around a composition of six spherical light elements. Instead of fixing every globe at the same level, the suspension height of each one can be adjusted separately. This provides greater freedom to tailor both the installation and the visual arrangement to the space.
The fitting is particularly relevant where a ceiling light should have a visible sculptural presence without relying on one large solid shade. Six separate globes form an airy group, and positioning them at different heights introduces space between the elements.
Arrange the six globes at individual heights
The key feature of Float Group is the individually adjustable height of all six globes. The fitting is therefore not restricted to one predetermined arrangement: the relative heights can be tailored during installation.
Positioning the globes closer to the same level creates a calmer, more uniform composition. Setting them at different heights gives the group greater vertical variation. This makes it possible to adapt the fitting both to ceiling height and to the visual impact desired from the installation.
The six individual globes also make the pendant a three-dimensional object. Because it can be viewed from different directions, the relationship between the suspension heights affects the appearance from around the room.
Long adjustable wires provide flexibility for higher ceilings
Each globe is suspended from its own adjustable wire. The generous wire length allows Float Group to be installed in higher ceiling spaces, which is a specifically stated feature of the design.
In a tall room, the globes can be brought further down into the space. With a lower ceiling, excess suspension length can be adjusted accordingly. The six shades do not need to remain at identical levels, giving additional freedom when adapting the fitting to the room.
Float Group uses screw mounting at the ceiling. The final wire lengths and relative heights of the globes can therefore be planned as part of the installation.
Six integrated LED light sources
Each Float Group globe contains an integrated 3 W LED. There are six LED units in total, and all are included with the fitting. The colour temperature is 4000 K, producing a neutral white light colour.
Because the LEDs are integrated, there are no separate bulbs to purchase or fit inside the globes. The light sources and visual structure form a complete lighting solution.
The white finish reinforces the clean appearance of the six-globe composition. Float Group is well suited to anyone looking for a multi-light LED pendant where the individual suspension heights can be tailored to the space.
