The Niagara Floor Lamp is defined by the contrast between its glossy chrome frame and matte silver-coloured chains. Rather than relying on a conventional continuous shade, the chains form a visible part of the fixture itself and give the surface a layered, decorative character. At 161 cm high, Niagara has enough vertical presence to become a clearly visible element within an interior.
Glossy chrome and matte silver create a layered design
Niagara combines a glossy chrome frame with matte silver-coloured chains. The two finishes provide visual contrast while remaining within the same silver and chrome colour palette.
The chain construction is a defining part of the design rather than simply a technical detail. It introduces numerous small elements around the light sources and gives Niagara a recognisable appearance from different viewing directions.
At 161 cm high, the floor lamp raises its light sources well above table-lamp level. As a freestanding fixture, it can be positioned on the floor without ceiling suspension.
Three E14 bulbs let you choose the light sources
Niagara uses three E14 lamp holders, each rated for a maximum of 40 W. Bulbs are not included, so compatible light sources can be selected separately.
The selected E14 bulbs determine the final luminous output and colour temperature. Using three matching bulbs is a practical way to achieve consistent light colour and output throughout the fixture.
When choosing the light sources, compatibility with the E14 lamp holders and the maximum 40 W rating per bulb should be observed.
On-cord switch for straightforward operation
The on/off switch is positioned on the cord. This allows Niagara to be operated directly from its own power lead and keeps the tall decorative frame free from an additional switch.
When planning the placement, both the 161 cm height and access to the on-cord switch should be taken into account. Leaving sufficient open space around the fixture also allows the chrome frame and chain structure to remain clearly visible.
Niagara family for different lighting positions
The Niagara family includes floor, pendant and table lamps. The related models repeat the combination of glossy chrome and matte silver-coloured chains, creating a recognisable connection between the three luminaire types.
