The Wave Table Lamp centres its design around one distinctive feature: sculpted white glass. The three-dimensional wave pattern gives the lamp character even when switched off, while illumination brings the contours of the shade more clearly into view. A restrained combination of white glass and satin-toned detailing keeps the palette calm and allows the shape of the shade to remain the main visual element.
Sculpted glass defines the Wave design
The Wave family is recognised by its individually shaped glass shades. On the table lamp, the wavy surface surrounds the light source with a gently sculptural form rather than the straight profile of conventional smooth glass.
The white glass makes Wave easy to combine with a broad range of interiors. Its character does not depend on bold colour or decorative ornament; instead, the visual interest comes from the rhythm of the glass surface and the way it changes under illumination.
This makes Wave a natural choice for a furnishing surface where the lamp itself is intended to contribute to the room even during daylight hours. It can sit on a side table, console or bedroom furniture while maintaining a calm, restrained appearance.
Light spreads evenly around the shade
The white glass distributes glare-free light evenly in all directions. Rather than creating one tightly defined beam, Wave provides light around the fixture and works naturally as part of a layered lighting scheme.
This makes the table lamp useful for adding another level of light alongside ceiling fixtures and other local lighting. Several light points at different heights can create a more varied room atmosphere than relying on a single central ceiling light.
The glass is therefore both the visual and functional centre of Wave. Its sculpted surface gives the lamp its recognisable appearance, while the white glass shapes the way the light is experienced around it.
Replaceable E27 light source
Wave uses one E27 bulb with a maximum rating of 60 W. The bulb is not included, giving you the freedom to choose the colour temperature and luminous output to suit the room.
A warm-white LED bulb can work well for relaxed ambient lighting, while the output can be selected according to the size of the space and the other light sources in the room. Because the bulb is replaceable, the lighting character can also be changed later without replacing the fixture.
The power switch is located on the cord for straightforward everyday use.
A coordinated Wave lighting family
Wave belongs to the Design by Grönlund collection. The family includes the Wave Table Lamp, Wave Floor Lamp and Wave Pendant Light, all linked by the same distinctive sculpted white glass. This makes it possible to continue the same glass design language at different heights within an interior.
