Night Sky differs from a conventional ring light through its two-part lighting structure. A brass LED ring defines the outer edge, while the centre contains an illuminated starry-sky effect. Together, these two elements turn the central area into an active part of the fixture rather than leaving the outer ring as the only illuminated feature.
Two diameters are available, 60 cm and 80 cm. Both versions share the same brass and black finish, 3000 K colour temperature, TRIAC dimming and adjustable 3-metre wire suspension.
LED ring and starry-sky centre create two lighting areas
The defining characteristic of Night Sky is the use of two visually different illuminated areas within one circular fixture. A brass LED ring runs around the perimeter, while the centre creates the starry-sky effect that gives the product its name.
The brass and black combination further emphasises the circular structure. Brass defines the outer ring, while black provides a darker contrasting area within the composition.
Night Sky is particularly effective in a position where the underside can remain visible. This allows both the outer LED ring and the illuminated central area to be appreciated as parts of the same design.
Two sizes for different room scales
Night Sky is available in 60 cm and 80 cm diameters. The two sizes make it possible to choose the visual scale of the fixture according to the room, surrounding furniture and the amount of ceiling space available.
The 60 cm version uses a 43 W integrated LED, while the larger 80 cm model uses 50 W. Both have the same 3000 K colour temperature, so moving from one size to the other does not change the colour appearance of the light.
The 60 cm model forms the more compact circular element, while the 80 cm version occupies more visual space and creates a broader presence overhead.
3000 K light with TRIAC dimming
Both Night Sky versions provide a 3000 K warm white colour temperature. This remains consistent across the two sizes.
The fixture is TRIAC dimmable, allowing its output to be adjusted in a compatible installation. This is particularly useful for a decorative light such as Night Sky, where the lighting level can be changed from brighter illumination to a more subdued evening setting. The recommended dimmer is Schneider Exxact WDE002299.
The LED is integrated and included, so separate bulbs are not required. Power is matched to the size: 43 W for the 60 cm version and 50 W for the 80 cm version.
Quick-lock suspension wires simplify installation
Night Sky is suspended from adjustable wires with a length of 3 metres. The wires use a quick-lock mechanism that makes it easier to level the circular fixture vertically during installation.
This is a practical feature for a wide, horizontally suspended light. Individual wire adjustment allows the position to be fine-tuned without rebuilding the entire suspension system.
The fixture uses screw mounting. With 3 metres of suspension length available, both the 60 cm and 80 cm versions offer generous adjustment when determining the final hanging height.
