The Visual Table Lamp is defined by the relationship between its long adjustable arm, compact fabric shade and contrasting materials. The black structure gives the lamp a strong linear form, brass-coloured details introduce a warmer metallic accent, and the white shade balances the darker frame. Its adjustable construction makes Visual more adaptable than a table lamp with a fixed lighting position, allowing the direction and overall proportions to change according to the task.
Adjustable arm for working and reading
Visual’s key practical feature is its adjustable arm. The light can be directed towards a desk, reading position or another area where local illumination is required. Depending on the arm position, the lamp measures between 48 and 79 cm high.
On a desk, this flexibility helps position the light closer to the working area. In a living room, Visual can stand on a side table and provide directional light for reading. In a bedroom, the same adjustable construction works on a bedside table where the light needs to be positioned around the user and surrounding furniture.
The ability to change the arm position also makes Visual easier to adapt if the furniture arrangement or lighting requirement changes. It does not need to remain in one fixed configuration.
White fabric balances the metal structure
Visual is made from metal, brass and fabric. Its appearance combines a black frame with brass elements and a white fabric shade. The shade measures 22 cm in diameter, giving it a relatively compact scale compared with the extended adjustable arm.
The contrast between black, white and the warmer metal tone gives the lamp a recognisable appearance without relying on decorative ornament. The white textile surface separates the shade visually from the dark frame, while the brass-coloured details break up the black metal structure.
With its tall adjustable arm and 22 cm shade, Visual has enough presence to work as part of the interior as well as a practical light. It can be placed on a desk, side table or larger bedside table without requiring the broad shade of a traditional table lamp.
Choose an E27 bulb to suit the task
Visual uses one E27 bulb with a maximum rating of 40 W. The bulb is not included, allowing the colour temperature and luminous output to be selected according to whether the lamp is used for work, reading or supplementary room lighting.
For desk use, an E27 LED bulb can be selected to provide an appropriate amount of practical light. In a living room or bedroom, a warmer source can be chosen to complement the surrounding lighting.
Because the bulb is replaceable, the lighting character can also be changed later without replacing the fixture itself. The adjustable arm then determines where the selected light is directed.
The power switch is located on the cord, keeping everyday operation simple regardless of the arm position.
