Queen is a crystal chandelier designed around the contrast between abundant crystal detailing and polished chrome. It is a fixture intended to be seen rather than disappear into the background. The 74 cm high crystal section gives the chandelier a distinctly vertical character, while the 65 cm diameter provides enough width to keep the overall proportions balanced.
Its scale is best appreciated in a position where there is sufficient clear space both around and below the fixture. The long crystal section becomes an important part of the room’s visual structure, especially when Queen can be viewed from more than one direction.
Crystal and shiny chrome define the design
The most prominent materials in Queen are crystal and shiny chrome. The chrome structure provides a bright, polished framework for the crystal detailing and gives the chandelier its clean metallic contrast.
When illuminated, the crystals create reflections that add movement and sparkle to the light. With eight separate light sources positioned within the overall structure, the crystals are illuminated from several points rather than by a single central bulb.
Queen works naturally in interiors where chrome, glass, mirrors or other reflective details are already present. It can also be used as a deliberate statement piece within an otherwise restrained interior.
The tall crystal section creates strong vertical presence
The crystal section measures 74 cm high, making vertical space an important consideration when positioning Queen.
With a diameter of 65 cm, the chandelier also requires sufficient clearance around its sides. Allowing open space around the fixture helps the full crystal structure remain visible and prevents its proportions from feeling crowded by surrounding furniture or architectural elements.
The suspension wires are 3 metres long and adjustable. This provides flexibility for different ceiling heights and allows the chandelier to be positioned lower in a tall space or closer to the ceiling where required.
Eight included GU10 LED light sources
Queen uses eight GU10 LED bulbs, each rated at 3 W. The bulbs are included with the chandelier.
The eight-light arrangement is an important part of the overall lighting effect. Rather than relying on one central source, Queen distributes light through several points within the crystal structure, helping the crystal details become part of the illuminated appearance.
The GU10 format also means the individual bulbs can be replaced when required without replacing the fixture itself.
