The Veska Table Lamp is built around a curved shade whose matt black exterior and white interior create a clear two-tone form. At 44 cm high and just 18 cm wide, the lamp has enough height to be useful on a desk without taking up excessive lateral space. Its 31 cm depth gives the curved shade room to form Veska’s distinctive side profile.
Curved shade creates a smoother illuminated surface
The defining feature of Veska is its curved shade. A small replaceable G9 bulb sits within the white inner section, which smooths the light and reduces the visual dominance of a single concentrated light point. The result is a more continuous illuminated appearance while retaining a replaceable bulb.
The matt black exterior outlines the shape clearly, while the white inside becomes more prominent when the lamp is switched on. This simple contrast gives Veska a recognisable identity without additional decorative detailing.
Its narrow 18 cm width is also useful on a working surface, leaving more room for a computer, papers or other desk items while still giving the lamp a strong visual presence.
44 cm proportions for desk use
Veska measures 44 cm high, 18 cm wide and 31 cm deep. These proportions raise the curved light section clearly above the surface below, making the table version particularly suitable for a desk.
It can also be used on another furnishing surface where its curved profile and matt black finish are intended to remain visible as part of the interior. The relatively narrow width helps with placement, while the 31 cm depth is worth considering when choosing the exact position.
Because the shape is not visually identical from every angle, orientation also influences how prominently the white inner section is seen from the room.
Fine-tune the shade orientation
The Veska shade can be adjusted slightly around its own axis. This allows the orientation of both the curved profile and the white inner surface to be fine-tuned after the lamp has been positioned.
On a desk, the adjustment can be related to the user’s seating position and working area. When Veska is used more decoratively, the shade can instead be turned so that its strongest profile faces the main viewing direction.
The movement is intended for subtle adjustment rather than major repositioning, keeping the fundamental Veska silhouette intact.
Replaceable G9 LED and the Veska family
The lamp uses one replaceable G9 LED bulb with a maximum rating of 5 W. The bulb is not included. This allows the G9 light source to be replaced when required while keeping the curved shade and white inner surface as permanent parts of the fixture. The power switch is positioned on the cord.
