The Vintage Pendant Light is defined by the contrast between clear textured glass and a restrained warm metal finish. Its classic character comes from the shape and surface of the glass rather than elaborate decoration. When illuminated, the rippled surface changes the way light appears across the shade; when switched off, the same texture gives the glass more depth than a completely smooth transparent surface. Two sizes allow the design to be selected with different proportions.
Textured clear glass shapes the illuminated appearance
Vintage uses a clear glass shade with a rippled surface. The texture diffuses the light across the glass and gives the illuminated fixture a more varied appearance than a completely smooth clear shade.
Because the glass remains transparent, the bulb itself also contributes to the final look. The combination of visible light source and textured glass makes the shade an active part of the lighting effect rather than simply a transparent cover.
Matt brass-coloured metal details frame the clear glass with a warmer tone. This combination is particularly natural in older and more decorative interiors, where the classic silhouette can work alongside architectural detailing and traditional materials.
Vintage 19 and Vintage 25 – two distinct proportions
Vintage is currently available in two sizes. Vintage 19 measures 19 cm in diameter and 34 cm high. Vintage 25 is wider but lower, measuring 25 cm in diameter and 28 cm high.
The difference is therefore not limited to diameter. Vintage 19 has a narrower, more vertical silhouette, while Vintage 25 creates a broader and slightly lower profile.
This makes the two versions visually distinct even though they share the same clear textured glass, metal finish, E27 lamp holder and suspension system.
A replaceable E27 bulb remains visible through the glass
Both sizes use one E27 bulb with a maximum rating of 40 W. The bulb is not included, allowing the colour temperature, luminous output and bulb appearance to be selected according to the interior and desired lighting atmosphere.
Because the shade is clear, the appearance of the bulb matters more than it would behind an opaque surface. A cleanly designed E27 LED bulb can complement the classic form while allowing the light colour to be coordinated with other fixtures in the room.
The textured glass then diffuses the light across its rippled surface, adding visual depth around the visible light source.
Three-metre adjustable suspension
Vintage has a 3-metre adjustable cord, providing generous flexibility when setting the final hanging height. This makes it easier to adapt either size to different ceiling heights and room proportions.
The fixture uses ceiling-hook mounting, and the Finnish configuration includes a luminaire plug. The same suspension arrangement is used for both current sizes.
