Tower is a pendant light built around a tall, narrow illuminated tube. At only 8 cm in diameter, the body has a light visual footprint, while its 51 cm height creates a distinct vertical line. The matt black metal and acrylic construction keeps the design simple, allowing the illuminated surface itself to become the main feature.
The pendant is suitable for homes as well as hotels, lobbies and other public spaces. Its restrained proportions make it particularly useful where a clearly defined light source is wanted without the visual weight of a broad conventional shade.
A narrow illuminated tube creates a clean vertical line
Tower’s defining element is its tubular vertical structure. Metal forms the body, while the acrylic surface diffuses light across almost the entire illuminated section. Instead of revealing one bright bulb or a small LED point, the fixture presents a longer and more even luminous surface.
The form directs light downwards while the acrylic also distributes it smoothly into the surrounding space. The broader illuminated surface helps avoid a harsh point-source effect and supports comfortable general lighting without pronounced glare or hard shadows.
This makes Tower suitable above a dining area as well as in a living room, bedroom or entrance space. Its matt black finish keeps the silhouette precise and works naturally with modern and Scandinavian interiors.
Integrated 17 W LED with warm 3000 K light
Tower has an integrated 17 W LED light source with a colour temperature of 3000 K. The LED is built into the fixture and works together with the acrylic diffuser rather than using a separate replaceable bulb.
The warm white 3000 K tone is well suited to living and dining environments where general lighting should remain clear without feeling cool. Because a substantial part of the tubular surface illuminates, the visual character is softer than that of a small exposed point source.
The combination of the narrow body and illuminated acrylic also makes Tower useful when the fixture itself is viewed from several directions within an open interior.
TRIAC dimming adapts the brightness
Tower is TRIAC dimmable, allowing the brightness to be adjusted with a compatible wall dimmer. The recommended dimmer is Schneider Exxact WDE002299.
Dimming makes the pendant more flexible in spaces that serve several purposes during the day. A dining area, for example, can use a brighter setting when more general light is needed and a lower level for softer evening illumination.
The same principle is useful in hospitality spaces, where the required light level can change according to time of day and atmosphere.
Adjustable suspension and the Tower lighting family
The cord is 3 metres long and adjustable, providing generous scope for setting the final hanging height according to the room and the furniture below.
