The Vigo USB Floor Lamp is designed for spaces where a floor light can do more than provide illumination. Designed by Karl-Erik Grönlund, it combines a tall metal frame with a small integrated shelf and a USB charging port. The result is particularly useful beside an armchair, sofa or lobby seating area, where a phone can be kept close at hand while charging.
Lighting, shelf and USB charging in one fixture
The small shelf built into Vigo USB is an important part of its practical design. It provides a convenient surface for a phone or another small item, while the integrated USB port allows a compatible device to be charged directly beside the light.
This makes the floor lamp well suited to a lobby, lounge or waiting area where people may want both light and access to device charging. The same arrangement is useful at home beside a sofa or reading chair, or next to a workspace where a separate side table would otherwise be needed.
The power switch is located directly on the body, keeping the control close to the shelf and the main user area.
A 160 cm metal floor lamp with a slim profile
Vigo USB stands 160 cm high, while the shade measures 19 cm in diameter. These proportions create a tall, relatively narrow floor lamp that provides useful vertical scale without relying on an oversized shade.
Both the shade and stem are made from metal. The lamp is available in black and white, allowing the same clean structure to be used in either a darker or lighter interior scheme. Black gives the linear frame stronger definition, while white creates a quieter overall appearance in pale surroundings.
The 19 cm shade remains compact in relation to the 160 cm height, reinforcing Vigo USB’s slim and functional character.
Choose the light with a replaceable E27 bulb
Vigo USB uses one E27 bulb with a maximum rating of 60 W. The bulb is not included, allowing the colour temperature and luminous output to be selected according to the setting and intended use.
In a lobby or lounge, the bulb can be chosen to complement the surrounding ambient lighting. Beside a reading chair or workspace, the selected E27 light source can instead focus on providing the required amount of practical local light.
Because the bulb is replaceable, the lighting characteristics can also be changed later without replacing the floor lamp itself. This combines a conventional replaceable light source with the more contemporary convenience of integrated USB charging.

Vigo USB was designed by Karl-Erik Grönlund and belongs to the Design by Grönlund collection. The coordinated family includes floor, table and wall lights, all combining a black or white metal design with USB charging functionality.
Product number 3482-05 identifies the black floor lamp, while 3482-06 identifies the white version. Both share the same 160 cm height, 19 cm shade, E27 lamp holder, USB charging port, integrated shelf and body-mounted switch.
