The Vigo USB Wall Light combines illumination and device charging in a single wall-mounted fixture. Designed by Karl-Erik Grönlund, it incorporates a USB charging port directly into the lamp, allowing a compatible phone or mobile device to be charged close to the light itself. This makes Vigo USB a practical option where wall lighting is expected to provide an additional everyday function.
USB charging integrated into the wall light
The built-in USB charging port reduces the need for a separate USB charger at the point where the light is used. A wall position can therefore provide both illumination and convenient access to mobile-device charging.
This is useful in bedrooms, beside work areas and in other interiors where devices are regularly charged. Wall mounting also keeps furnishing and floor surfaces free.
The power switch is positioned directly on the body, keeping the main lighting control close to the integrated charging function.
A 70 cm vertical profile
Vigo USB stands 70 cm high and has a shade diameter of 16.5 cm. The proportions give the fixture a distinctly vertical character while keeping the upper section relatively compact.
Two finishes are available: matt black and matt white. Black creates stronger definition against a pale wall, while white can sit more quietly in a light interior. Both versions share the same dimensions, charging function and lamp specification.
Choose the light with a replaceable E27 bulb
The wall light uses one E27 bulb with a maximum rating of 60 W. The bulb is not included, allowing the colour temperature and luminous output to be selected to suit the location and preferred lighting atmosphere.
A warmer LED bulb can support softer supplementary lighting, while a higher-output E27 source can be selected when more light is required within the fixture’s maximum rating.
Because the bulb is replaceable, the lighting characteristics can also be changed later without replacing the wall fixture itself.
