Odense is built around a clean pendant-light form in which wood brings a warmer contrast to the metal. The design is distinctly Scandinavian and restrained, while the wooden detail gives the fixture an identifiable character. Matt black and matt white provide two different ways to coordinate the same design with the surrounding interior.
Wood and metal define the Odense design
Odense combines wood and metal without unnecessary decorative detailing. The contrast between the two materials is central to the design: the wooden element softens the overall appearance, while the metal keeps the form crisp and clearly defined.
The wooden detail is visible in both the black and white versions, so the material combination remains an essential part of the fixture regardless of the selected colour.
The matt black model provides a darker expression, while matt white offers a lighter alternative. Dimensions and technical specifications remain the same in both versions.
Broad shade works naturally above a dining table
Odense measures 30 cm in diameter and 45 cm in height. The shade is designed to distribute light over a relatively broad area, making the pendant particularly suitable for installation above a dining table.
Its 30 cm diameter keeps the pendant relatively compact, while the 45 cm height gives the design a clearly vertical presence. This is worth considering when setting the final suspension height above a table or other furnishing surface.
The adjustable cord provides flexibility when positioning the pendant according to both ceiling height and the proportions of the furniture below.
E27 bulb lets you choose the final light
Odense uses one E27 lamp holder rated for a maximum of 40 W. The bulb is not included, allowing a compatible light source to be selected separately.
The selected E27 bulb determines the final luminous output and colour temperature. This makes it possible to coordinate Odense with the other lighting in a dining area or room.
When choosing the light source, compatibility with the E27 lamp holder and the maximum 40 W rating should be observed.
Adjustable three-metre suspension
Odense has a 3-metre adjustable cord, providing generous flexibility for different ceiling heights and hanging positions. This is particularly useful when the pendant is installed above a dining table and needs to be positioned at a specific height.
The fixture uses ceiling-hook mounting and includes a luminaire plug for connection to a compatible ceiling outlet.
