The Ufo Table Lamp is defined by one clear element: a rounded body made from white glass. Its shape deliberately recalls the flying saucers of classic films, giving the lamp a playful identity without relying on decorative surface details. The white finish keeps the overall appearance clean and allows the form itself to remain the main visual feature.
White glass defines the Ufo design
Rather than combining a separate shade and visible supporting stem, Ufo presents a unified glass form. Its smoothly curved white surface gives the lamp a softer silhouette than a conventional table lamp.
The neutral white glass works naturally with both pale and darker interiors. Ufo can be placed on a side table, console or another furnishing surface where there is enough room around the rounded body for its shape to remain clearly visible.
This makes Ufo particularly suitable where a table lamp is intended to act as both a light source and a recognisable interior object.
Ufo 32 and Ufo 41 – two different scales
Ufo is available in two sizes. The smaller Ufo 32 stands 30 cm high and measures 32 cm in diameter. The larger Ufo 41 is 46 cm high and 41 cm in diameter. Both versions use the same white glass construction and one E27 bulb.
Ufo 32 is better suited to a more compact surface where a distinctive but moderate scale is preferred. Ufo 41 is both taller and wider, giving it considerably more visual presence on a larger piece of furniture.
The diameter is particularly important when selecting the size. At 32 and 41 cm, both versions are relatively broad table lamps and benefit from having open space around them.
Choose the light with a replaceable E27 bulb
Both sizes use one E27 lamp holder with a maximum rating of 40 W. The bulb is not included, allowing the final colour temperature and luminous output to be selected according to the room and desired atmosphere.
Because the bulb sits inside the white glass body, the light seen through the lamp becomes an important part of its appearance. The product can also be used with a remote-controlled, colour-changing E27 LED bulb, allowing the colour visible through the white glass to be changed.
The power switch is located on the cord for straightforward everyday operation.
A rounded statement for a furnishing surface
Ufo benefits from a position where its curved form can be viewed from several directions. The all-glass silhouette does not require additional decorative detailing, allowing the shape to remain the dominant visual element.
The 32 cm version works naturally on a smaller side table or similar surface, while Ufo 41 suits a larger console or furnishing surface where more scale is wanted. Both sizes are part of the Design by Grönlund collection.
