Toronto 2 uses a restrained all-white palette to place the emphasis on proportion and shape. The metal body widens towards the base in a trumpet-like form, while the white fabric shade completes the upper section. At 69 cm high and 35 cm in diameter, the lamp has enough scale to contribute clearly to the interior rather than disappearing as a small secondary light.
White metal and fabric create a coherent look
The Toronto 2 body is made from white metal and paired with a white fabric shade. Keeping both elements in the same colour creates a calm, unified appearance, while the difference between the metal and textile surfaces prevents the lamp from looking completely uniform.
The trumpet-shaped body gives Toronto its recognisable silhouette. A wider lower section narrows upwards towards the shade, keeping the relatively tall lamp visually balanced.
With a diameter of 35 cm, Toronto 2 works naturally on a generous side table, console or bedroom furnishing surface. Its proportions should be considered when positioning the lamp so that the shade has sufficient open space around it.
Fabric shade distributes light around the lamp
The white fabric shade allows Toronto 2 to spread light into the surrounding space. This makes it useful as a supplementary source of illumination alongside the room’s main ceiling lighting.
The final character of the lighting depends on the selected E27 bulb. A warm colour temperature can support relaxed evening lighting, while the luminous output can be chosen according to how much supplementary light is required.
The white palette also keeps the lamp visually light despite its 69 cm height, allowing its shape and material contrast to remain more prominent than colour.
Replaceable E27 light source
Toronto 2 uses one E27 lamp holder with a maximum rating of 60 W. The bulb is not included, giving you control over the final colour temperature and luminous output.
The power switch is located on the cord.
The replaceable E27 format also makes it easy to adjust the lighting later. A different bulb can change both brightness and light colour without requiring a new lamp.
Toronto 1 and Toronto 2 as companion models
The Toronto range includes two table lamps. Toronto 1 measures 70 cm high, while Toronto 2 measures 69 cm; both are 35 cm in diameter. Each combines a white metal body, white fabric shade and single E27 lamp holder, while the shade components distinguish the two models from one another.
Toronto 2 is therefore a natural option when the all-white Toronto design suits the interior but this particular shade and 69 cm proportion are preferred.
