The Plaza Table Lamp is defined by a slender frame and a sculpted shade that curves downwards. The simple structure gives the lamp a calm appearance, while the distinctive shade profile adds enough character to set it apart from more conventional table lamps. Plaza works naturally on a desk, bedside table, sideboard or side table where both practical light and a clearly defined design are appreciated.
At 53 cm high, the shade sits clearly above the surface. The lamp measures just 18 cm wide and 30 cm deep, so its footprint remains relatively compact. The forward-reaching shade also positions the light away from the centre of the base, supporting use as a reading or task light.
Curved shade directs light downwards
The defining feature of Plaza is its downward-curving shade. This gives the lamp a softer profile than a fully linear design and directs illumination towards the area beneath the shade.
On a desk, the structure brings light closer to the working surface. On a bedside or side table, Plaza can provide more focused light for reading while also contributing a lower layer of illumination alongside the room’s main lighting.
The narrow frame keeps the shade as the most visually prominent element. Its profile remains clear from the side, which is useful when the lamp is positioned where it can be seen from several directions.
Matt black or matt white
Plaza is available in matt black and matt white. Both versions share the same dimensions, lamp holder and technical construction. Product number 25005-05 identifies matt black, while 25005-06 identifies matt white.
Matt black emphasises the outline of the curved shade and creates a stronger contrast against lighter furniture and wall surfaces. Matt white gives the same form a lighter visual presence and works naturally on pale desks, bedside tables and cabinets.
The restrained finishes keep the focus on the shape of the lamp and make both versions easy to combine with a broad range of furniture styles.
Choose the final light with an E27 bulb
Plaza uses one E27 lamp holder rated for a maximum of 40 W. The bulb is not included.
The replaceable E27 format allows the final luminous output to be selected according to the intended use. A brighter bulb can support reading or desk work, while a lower output is suitable when Plaza is mainly used as softer supplementary lighting.
Colour temperature can also be chosen to coordinate with the rest of the room. Warm white light works naturally in bedrooms and living spaces, while a desk setting can be matched to the colour temperature of surrounding task lighting. The power switch is positioned on the cord.
One Plaza design across table, floor and ceiling lighting
The Plaza family includes Table, Floor and Pendant Lights. The table and floor versions share the same distinctive curved-shade character, while the pendant develops the design into a three-shade composition. All three formats are available in black and white.
This makes it possible to repeat the same design language at several levels within an interior: Plaza on a furnishing surface, beside seating at floor level and above the room as a pendant.
