The Plaza Floor Lamp is built around a small number of clearly defined elements: a tall slender frame, a sculpted curved shade and a restrained matt finish. The design is easy to read visually, while the shape of the shade gives Plaza more character than a completely straight-lined floor lamp.
At 157 cm high, Plaza works naturally in living rooms, bedrooms and workspaces. Its slender construction also makes it particularly suitable beside a sofa or in a reading corner where useful light is needed without a visually heavy structure.
Sculpted shade defines the Plaza silhouette
The most recognisable element of Plaza is its curved, sculpted shade. It creates a clear profile without relying on decorative detailing and gives the lamp an interesting appearance from the side as well as from the front.
The slender frame keeps the overall structure visually light and allows the shade to remain the dominant element of the design.
In a reading corner, Plaza can be placed beside an armchair. In a living room it works naturally alongside a sofa, while in a workspace it provides an additional floor-level light source alongside the room’s other lighting.
Matt black or matt white
Matt black emphasises the outline of the sculpted shade and long frame, creating a clear contrast against lighter walls, furniture and surrounding surfaces.
Matt white gives the same form a visually lighter expression. It works naturally in pale interiors where the shape of the floor lamp should remain visible without a strong colour contrast.
E27 bulb lets you tailor the final light
Plaza uses one E27 lamp holder rated for a maximum of 40 W. The bulb is not included.
The replaceable E27 format lets you choose the luminous output and colour temperature according to the room and intended use. A brighter bulb can support a reading corner, while a lower output works well for softer supplementary lighting.
Colour temperature can also be matched to the rest of the room. Warm white light suits living and lounge areas, while a more neutral tone can work well in a workspace. The E27 base and maximum 40 W rating should be observed when selecting the bulb.
Matching Plaza lighting for different levels
The Plaza range also includes a Table Lamp and Pendant Light. The Table Lamp repeats the same sculpted shade and matt black or matt white colour options, allowing the design to continue at different heights within an interior.
The Floor Lamp brings the Plaza silhouette to a 157 cm freestanding format, while the Table Lamp places the same visual language on a furnishing surface and the Pendant Light extends it to ceiling lighting.
