- Matching Leeds pendant continues the same glass design
The visual identity of the Leeds Table Lamp comes from one distinctive feature: its curved glass shade with a vertical gradient. The lower section remains almost clear, while the surface becomes darker and more reflective towards the top. A matt black body provides a restrained background and keeps the glass as the main focus.
As a table lamp, Leeds introduces light at furniture level while also functioning as a visible decorative element. Its narrow glass shade and tall proportions give the design a slender appearance, making it a useful alternative where a distinctive light is wanted without a broad fabric shade.
Gradient glass changes from clear to reflective
The lower part of the Leeds glass shade is almost clear. Moving upwards, the surface becomes darker and more reflective, creating the characteristic smoked-chrome gradient. This transition gives a single piece of glass several visual qualities and keeps the shade interesting both illuminated and switched off.
The curved profile further emphasises the changing finish. Clearer glass at the bottom keeps the lamp visually light, while the darker upper section creates contrast with the matt black body. Reflections across the glass also change with the viewing angle.
The black and silver colour palette works particularly well where a dark table lamp is wanted without the visual weight of an opaque shade. Transparency remains part of the design and gives the fitting a lighter appearance.
Replaceable E27 bulb as part of the glass design
Leeds takes one E27 bulb with a maximum wattage of 40 W. The bulb is purchased separately, allowing a compatible light source to be selected for the intended setting. The replaceable format also makes future bulb changes straightforward.
Because the lower part of the shade is almost clear, the light source becomes part of the finished appearance. The bulb is more visible through the lower glass, while the smoked-chrome upper section creates a darker and more reflective effect.
The power switch is positioned on the cord. This suits a table lamp placed on a side table, chest or another furniture surface where convenient on/off control is useful.
A coordinated pair with the Leeds Pendant Light
The Leeds family consists of this single-light table lamp and a three-light pendant. Both repeat the matt black body and curved smoked-chrome gradient glass, allowing the same material and colour language to continue at different heights within an interior.
The table lamp brings the Leeds design to furniture level in a smaller format. The pendant uses three matching glass shades to create a larger composition overhead. Together, the two models provide a consistent way to repeat the dark reflective glass character across a room.
