Venetsia is designed for interiors where the pendant itself is meant to be noticed. Its tall lantern-inspired structure, transparent glass and antique-grey finish create a distinctly traditional character without making the fixture feel visually closed or heavy. The clear glass exposes the interior of the pendant and allows the light sources to become part of its overall appearance.
A strong lantern-inspired silhouette
The defining feature of Venetsia is its tall, substantial lantern shape. It has considerably more visual presence than a small individual pendant and works best where there is enough space around the fixture for its proportions to be appreciated.
Clear glass helps balance the scale. Instead of forming a solid visual mass, the transparent surfaces keep the structure open. The antique-grey finish defines the shape and strengthens the traditional character of the design.
Traditional character or deliberate contrast
Venetsia works particularly well in two very different interior settings. In an old log-house environment, its lantern-inspired form and antique-grey finish complement the traditional surroundings naturally.
In a contemporary minimalist space, the effect is different. Here the classical silhouette can provide an intentional contrast to straight architectural lines, smooth surfaces and understated furniture. Clear glass keeps the light sources visible
The transparent glass leaves the interior of the fixture open to view. Bulb shape therefore becomes part of the pendant’s appearance and can be considered alongside the required colour temperature and light output.
Replaceable bulbs also allow the lighting character to be adjusted to suit the room and surrounding lighting without changing the pendant itself.
Chain suspension completes the lantern look
Venetsia hangs from an adjustable cord and chain. The chain is a visible part of the fixture and complements its traditional lantern-inspired form. The generous adjustment length makes it easier to position the pendant according to ceiling height and the proportions of the room.
