Torino is a fabric-shade pendant whose identity comes from its black-and-white vine pattern. The decorative surface gives the 50 cm shade a strong visual role without the need for a complex frame or multiple light sources. Its form remains straightforward: one round shade, a 23 cm height and an adjustable suspension.
A black-and-white vine pattern defines the design
The Torino shade uses a black-and-white vine motif that adds decoration while keeping the colour palette restrained. The two neutral tones make the pattern easy to combine with both lighter and darker furniture.
The generous 50 cm diameter gives the motif enough surface area to remain clearly visible. Torino therefore works well in a location where the pendant is viewed from the side as part of the interior, not simply as a light source above the room.
The fabric-shade format is particularly suitable for dining and living interiors where the pendant is expected to contribute to the furnishing scheme even when switched off.
Broad, low proportions above a table
Torino measures 50 cm in diameter and 23 cm high. These proportions give the pendant a broad but relatively low silhouette, making it easy to position above a dining table or another defined furnishing area.
The 50 cm width also gives the pendant enough presence to work as a single fixture rather than requiring a cluster of several smaller lights.
A 3-metre adjustable cord allows the final suspension height to be matched to the ceiling and the furniture below. Torino uses ceiling-hook mounting.
Choose the final light with an E27 bulb
Torino has one E27 lamp holder with a maximum rating of 60 W. The bulb is not included, leaving the final light output and colour temperature to be selected separately.
A warmer bulb can be chosen for dining and living areas, while a higher-output E27 source can provide more illumination where required, within the maximum lamp rating.
The replaceable format also makes it easy to change the lighting later without replacing the pendant itself. This gives Torino flexibility if the room, furniture or surrounding lighting changes over time.
Continue the Torino look with a table lamp
The Design by Grönlund collection also includes a Torino Table Lamp, allowing the same product name and visual direction to continue from ceiling lighting to a furnishing surface.
