Lantern combines a straightforward pendant structure with a distinctive wavy glass shade. The surface adds movement to the otherwise simple rounded form and changes how light is reflected across the glass. The result is a decorative pendant whose character can vary considerably depending on whether smoked, clear or champagne-coloured glass is selected.
Its medium scale makes Lantern easy to use as an individual pendant above a table, surface or another defined area. The glass shade also keeps the fitting visually interesting when switched off, while the adjustable suspension helps coordinate the height with both the ceiling and nearby furniture.
Wavy glass makes light part of the design
The defining element of Lantern is its wavy glass shade. Rather than presenting a completely smooth surface, the glass changes how reflections appear across the fitting. Light and glass therefore work together as part of the visual design.
The rounded glass form gives Lantern a softer appearance than a sharply geometric metal pendant. At the same time, the simple overall silhouette keeps the design easy to place in an interior where the pendant should be noticeable without becoming visually complicated.
The same wavy construction is used across all three versions. Changing the tint of the glass, however, creates three clearly different expressions from the same basic shape.
Three combinations of glass and finish
The black Lantern is paired with smoked glass. Its dark upper section and tinted shade create the deepest colour palette of the three options, with the wavy glass becoming especially noticeable when illuminated.
The satin version uses clear glass. This creates the most transparent appearance and leaves the bulb and inner structure more visible through the shade. The satin-toned upper section gives the fitting a restrained, cooler visual character.
The brass-coloured Lantern is combined with champagne glass. Its warmer metal tone and gently tinted glass create a coordinated warm palette. The three variants therefore allow the same pendant to feel darker, clearer or warmer without changing its dimensions or basic construction.
Replaceable E27 bulb and adjustable suspension
Lantern takes one E27 bulb with a maximum wattage of 60 W. The bulb is purchased separately, allowing a compatible light source to be selected for the intended lighting effect. The replaceable format also makes future bulb changes straightforward.
Bulb appearance plays a visible role in Lantern, particularly in the clear-glass version where the light source can be seen directly through the shade. Smoked and champagne glass modify the visual effect through their own tint while retaining the characteristic wavy surface.
The three-metre fabric-covered cord is adjustable during installation. This generous suspension length makes it easier to adapt Lantern to different ceiling heights and furniture arrangements. Hook mounting keeps the installation format straightforward for a compatible ceiling point.
