Drop 1 takes its visual cue from the natural form of a falling drop. The slender glass shade narrows towards the glossy copper-coloured upper section, creating a light and simple silhouette. A very subtle honey tone in the glass gives the fitting a warm visual character both when switched off and when illuminated.
Its compact and clearly defined form works naturally as a single pendant, but Drop becomes especially interesting when several fittings are brought together. Suspended at different heights, the repeated drop forms create an airy composition while each individual shade remains clearly visible.
Honey-toned glass creates a warm effect
The defining feature of Drop is its gently tinted glass shade. The subtle warm tone influences the appearance of the illuminated fitting and gives the light a pleasant, atmospheric character. This makes Drop particularly relevant where the pendant is intended to contribute to the mood of the space as well as provide light.
The glossy copper-coloured upper section continues the warm palette while contrasting with the transparent character of the glass. Its position at the narrow top of the shade also emphasises the drop-shaped silhouette.
Drop uses a replaceable E14 bulb inside the glass shade. Because the bulb is selected separately, its brightness and colour temperature can be chosen to coordinate with the surrounding lighting, within the specified maximum wattage.
Use alone or arrange several at different heights
Drop can be used above a dining table or coffee table and also works as a window light. Its compact form provides a clearly defined decorative point without the visual width of a large pendant.
The design is also intended for grouped installations. Several Drop pendants suspended together at different heights create a three-dimensional composition based on the repetition of the same simple form. The number and spacing of the fittings can be adapted to the available space.
The adjustable three-metre cord gives useful flexibility for both single and grouped installations. Individual suspension heights can be tailored to the furniture below or intentionally varied within a multi-light arrangement.
Replaceable E14 bulb and screw mounting
Drop 1 takes one E14 bulb with a maximum wattage of 25 W. The bulb is not included. A replaceable light source allows the brightness and colour temperature to be selected separately and changed later without replacing the complete fitting.
The pendant is secured to the ceiling with screw mounting. Its adjustable cord allows the final suspension height to be set during installation, whether Drop is used on its own or as part of a group.
