The most recognisable feature of the Cut pendant light is the laser-cut wave pattern across its white shade. The curved pattern adds texture and detail to an otherwise calm monochrome design, giving the pendant visual interest without introducing additional colours or decorative components.
At 44 cm in diameter, Cut has enough scale to work as a clearly visible single pendant. It can be positioned above a table or in another location where there is sufficient space for the shade and its laser-cut detailing to be appreciated from different angles.
A laser-cut wave pattern defines the design
Cut’s white shade stands out primarily because of its surface treatment. The laser-cut pattern creates a repeating curved wave motif that gives the pendant a more detailed character than a completely plain white shade.
At the same time, the all-white colour keeps the overall appearance restrained. Rather than relying on strong colour contrasts, Cut gains its character from the relationship between the shade’s form and its patterned surface.
The wave pattern remains visible even when the light is switched off, so the pendant continues to contribute to the interior throughout the day. E27 bulb with adjustable suspension
Cut takes one E27 bulb with a maximum wattage of 60 W. The bulb is not included, allowing a compatible light source to be selected separately. The choice of bulb can therefore determine characteristics such as brightness and colour temperature.
The cord is three metres long and adjustable. This generous range makes it easier to set the pendant at a suitable height in relation to the ceiling and the furniture below.
Cut is designed for hook mounting and comes with a ceiling plug. The Cut lighting family also includes a floor lamp and table lamp. Each repeats the white shade and curved laser-cut wave pattern, allowing the same design language to be continued across different lighting positions.
