Minitube Spot is designed for track-lighting installations where focused illumination is required without the visual weight of a large spotlight. It is smaller than spotlights typically used in retail spaces, giving it proportions that work naturally in offices and homes. Matt black and matt white finishes allow the fixture to be coordinated with different tracks and ceiling surfaces.
Its essential lighting characteristics are clearly defined. The integrated 10 W LED produces 930 lumens, the lens has a 36° beam angle and colour rendering is CRI > 90. The colour temperature can be selected separately as either 3000 K or 4000 K.
Compact spotlight for 3-phase track lighting
Minitube mounts on a 3-phase track and forms part of a track-lighting installation. Its compact construction helps keep the fixture visually restrained so that attention can remain on the illuminated area.
Matt black and matt white versions are available in both colour temperatures. This means the luminaire finish and the colour of the light can be selected independently, creating four product variations with individual product numbers.
Focused beam with good colour rendering
The 36° lens angle produces a controlled beam suited to focused lighting rather than broad general illumination. This makes Minitube useful when light needs to be directed towards a defined surface, area or object.
The integrated 10 W LED delivers 930 lumens. CRI > 90 provides good colour rendering, helping illuminated materials and colours appear natural under the light.
Because the LED is integrated and included, no separate bulb is required. Power, luminous flux, colour rendering and the 36° optics are all defined parts of the luminaire.
Choose 3000 K or 4000 K
Minitube Spot is available in two colour temperatures. The 3000 K version gives a warmer white appearance, while 4000 K provides a more neutral, cooler white.
This choice makes it easier to coordinate the track lighting with the other lighting in the space. When several Minitube spots are installed together, using the same colour temperature creates a consistent light appearance across the installation.
Both matt black and matt white versions are available in 3000 K and 4000 K.
TRIAC dimming for adjustable lighting
Minitube Spot is TRIAC dimmable. With a compatible installation, the light output can be adjusted according to the required lighting level. The recommended dimmer is Schneider Exxact WDE002299.
Dimming adds flexibility when the same track-lighting system needs to support different situations. The light level can be increased when stronger focused illumination is needed and reduced when a lower level is more appropriate.
