Tripled stands apart from a conventional single-stem floor lamp through its three-legged frame. The chrome finish makes the supporting structure an important part of the design, while the black shade creates a strong visual contrast above it. At 160 cm high and 45 cm in diameter, Tripled has enough scale to be clearly visible beside furniture without becoming an unusually large floor lamp.
A three-legged chrome frame defines the design
The most recognisable feature of Tripled is its three-legged chrome frame. Instead of concentrating the structure around one vertical stem, the three legs create a broader and more graphic base.
The combination of chrome and a black shade gives the lamp a straightforward two-tone appearance. Its 45 cm diameter should be considered when choosing the position, allowing sufficient room around both the frame and shade.
Tripled is particularly suited to placement beside a sofa in a living room. Its 160 cm height lifts the shade above much of the surrounding furniture while keeping the lamp easy to integrate into a seating area.
E27 bulb and integrated LED in one floor lamp
Tripled combines two different types of light source. The main lamp holder accepts one E27 bulb with a maximum rating of 60 W. The bulb is not included. In addition, the fixture contains an integrated 1 W LED light source, which is included.
The replaceable E27 bulb allows the final colour temperature and luminous output of the main light source to be selected according to the room. This gives flexibility when Tripled is used for softer evening illumination or stronger supplementary lighting.
The integrated LED forms a separate fixed part of the lighting construction, so the fixture combines a conventional replaceable bulb with built-in LED technology.
Black shade and chrome create a clear contrast
The black shade forms the visual upper section of the lamp and contrasts clearly with the chrome frame. This makes the supporting tripod structure particularly noticeable and gives Tripled a defined silhouette even when the light is switched off.
The 45 cm diameter gives the shade and frame enough visual scale to work naturally beside larger furniture such as a sofa.
Controls positioned on the lamp holder
The power switches are located on the lamp holder, placing the controls directly alongside the light sources rather than on the cord.
