Hood Double is a floor lamp built around two independently adjustable shades. The dual-light construction allows illumination to be directed towards two separate positions from a single floor lamp. This makes Hood Double particularly practical for reading and other local lighting needs in living rooms and public spaces.
The two-light layout is especially useful beside seating used by more than one person. Each shade can be aimed separately, so the light does not need to fall on exactly the same area. One floor lamp can therefore support two nearby reading positions.
Two adjustable shades for separate lighting areas
Each Hood Double shade can be directed individually. This makes it possible to illuminate two separate areas simultaneously and gives the lamp a clear advantage where focused reading light is required. The light can be aimed closer to a book, magazine or other working area rather than remaining fixed in one direction.
The arrangement also works well beside two adjacent chairs or different sections of a sofa. Each user can have a separately directed light without adding another floor lamp to the room.

Independent switches for both lights
Each Hood Double shade has its own power switch positioned on top. The lights can therefore be used together or independently. If illumination is required on only one side, the second light can remain switched off.
Placing the controls directly on the shades makes operation clear and accessible. Each light is controlled at the point where it is being used rather than through one common switch for both bulbs.

Replaceable E27 bulbs
Hood Double takes two E27 bulbs with a maximum wattage of 40 W each. The bulbs are not included, allowing compatible light sources to be selected separately.
Replaceable bulbs make it possible to renew the light sources without replacing the complete fitting. The chosen bulbs also determine the final brightness and colour characteristics within the limits of the lamp.
For a reading light, bulb selection has a direct effect on the resulting illumination. The adjustable shades then help direct that light towards the area where it is needed.
Matt black or matt white
Hood Double is available in matt black and matt white. Both versions have the same dual adjustable-shade structure, individual switches and two replaceable E27 light sources.
The matt black model creates a stronger visual outline, while the matt white version has a lighter presence. The two alternatives make it easier to coordinate the floor lamp with different interior colour schemes.
