Wheels combines a clean metal structure, integrated LED lighting and an unusually broad choice of sizes. The four versions allow the same ceiling-light design to work across rooms with different proportions, while matte black and matte white offer two clearly contrasting finishes.
One design for different spaces
The choice of four sizes is one of the most useful aspects of Wheels. A smaller model can provide a more compact ceiling presence, while the larger versions give the fixture greater visual weight and increase the integrated LED output at the same time.
This makes it possible to continue the same lighting language through several areas of a home. A smaller Wheels can be used in a bedroom or hallway, while a larger version can suit a living room, kitchen or more open area. Applications include living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens and hallways.
The selection also makes Wheels easier to specify according to the proportions of the room rather than choosing between entirely different fixture designs.
Broad light from an integrated LED source
Wheels uses an integrated LED light source, so separate replaceable bulbs are not required. LED output varies according to the selected size, while the colour temperature remains 3000 K throughout the range.
The fixture is designed to provide broad, pleasant illumination and therefore works naturally as a source of general room lighting. As a ceiling-mounted fixture, Wheels keeps the light close to the ceiling without the suspended form of a pendant.
The warm-white colour temperature also makes the different Wheels sizes easy to combine with other 3000 K lighting within the same interior.
Dimming adds flexibility to general lighting
Wheels is TRIAC dimmable, allowing the brightness to be adjusted with a compatible dimmer. The recommended dimmer is Schneider Exxact WDE002299.
Adjustable output is especially useful in a general ceiling light that may serve several purposes during the day. A brighter setting can support everyday activities or work, while a lower level provides calmer illumination later in the evening.
This flexibility allows the same fixture to remain useful even when the lighting needs of the room change from one situation to another.
Matte black or matte white
Every Wheels size is available in matte black and matte white. The white finish can blend more quietly with a pale ceiling, while matte black gives the metal structure stronger visual definition.
The English product configuration uses ceiling-hook mounting. The Finnish version additionally specifies a light-fixture plug. With the different sizes and two finishes, Wheels can be adapted without changing the basic design language of the fixture.
