2,322

The Kallary Eye-Catcher is a large Design by Grönlund ceiling light designed by Johanna Oras. Hundreds of hanging gold-coloured calla-lily-inspired plates create its distinctive layered form, with light reflecting between the individual elements when illuminated. The large round ceiling plate can be mounted directly to the ceiling or suspended lower using separately purchased wires or chains. Kallary Eye-Catcher takes one replaceable E27 bulb, purchased separately. Its generous scale makes it especially suitable where the ceiling light is intended to become a prominent decorative focal point.

Description

  • Hundreds of calla-lily-inspired plates create a layered composition
  • Light reflects between the hanging gold-coloured decorative elements
  • Designed by Johanna Oras for the Kallary family
  • Mount directly to the ceiling or suspend lower
  • Replaceable E27 bulb allows flexible light-source selection
  • Generous scale creates a prominent interior focal point

Kallary Eye-Catcher translates Johanna Oras’ calla-lily theme into a large decorative ceiling light. Instead of a conventional single shade, the design is formed by hundreds of gold-coloured plates hanging from a broad round ceiling structure. When illuminated, light reflects between these elements and emphasises the layered construction.

Its generous proportions make Kallary Eye-Catcher a ceiling light intended to be noticed. It works most naturally where sufficient surrounding space allows the complete form to be appreciated. The repeated floral elements and gold colour give the fitting a strong decorative identity even when the light is switched off.

Hundreds of calla-lily elements create visual depth

The defining feature of Kallary Eye-Catcher is the large number of hanging calla-lily-inspired plates. Rather than focusing attention on one individual ornament, the repeated elements form a dense, layered composition below the ceiling plate. Light can reflect between the plates, giving the structure greater depth when illuminated.

The gold-coloured surfaces emphasise the changing relationship between light and shadow throughout the arrangement. Because the decorative elements hang as a large three-dimensional group, the fitting also changes visually when viewed from different positions within the room.

The calla-lily theme connects Eye-Catcher with the wider Kallary family designed by Johanna Oras. The collection includes two gold-coloured large ceiling lights as well as fabric-shaded pendant, table and floor lamps.

Two installation approaches for different ceiling spaces

The large round ceiling plate can be mounted directly against the ceiling. This keeps the decorative structure close to the ceiling surface and uses the fitting in its more compact installation configuration.

Alternatively, Kallary Eye-Catcher can be suspended lower using wires or chains purchased separately. This provides useful flexibility in taller spaces where bringing the decorative structure down from the ceiling can make it more visually connected to the rest of the interior.

Because the additional wires or chains are not included as standard, a suspended installation should be planned separately. The large diameter should also be considered in relation to the surrounding ceiling area and available space around the fitting.

Replaceable E27 bulb within a decorative structure

Kallary Eye-Catcher takes one E27 bulb with a maximum wattage of 40 W. The bulb is not included, allowing a compatible light source to be selected separately. The replaceable format also makes it possible to renew the bulb later without replacing the complete ceiling light.

The chosen light source influences how strongly the illumination is seen and reflected among the hanging decorative plates. In this design, the relationship between the single bulb and the surrounding structure is central to the overall effect.

Kallary Eye-Catcher is suited to customers looking for a large-scale decorative ceiling light with a strong designer identity. Johanna Oras’ floral theme, the gold-coloured layered construction and two installation options distinguish it from more conventional pendant and ceiling lights.
