Stripe is designed around a ceramic lamp base rather than a complete predefined shade-and-base combination. The 46 cm high body is supplied without a shade, giving you the freedom to complete the lamp according to your own interior rather than accepting one fixed look.
Its striped surface and warm dark colouring make the ceramic body visually interesting even when the lamp is switched off. The decorative character comes from the body itself, while the final shade can be selected separately.
A striped ceramic base with a distinctive character
The Stripe body is made from ceramic and features a striped surface. Warm black and light brownish tones give the base a restrained, earthy appearance that works naturally as a decorative element on a furnishing surface.
At 46 cm high, the lamp base has enough scale to remain clearly visible on a side table, console or bedside surface. Its form can therefore contribute to the room during the daytime as well as when illuminated.
The ceramic base is the fixed visual element of Stripe, while the choice of shade determines how the complete lamp will relate to the surrounding furniture and textiles.
Choose your own shade
Stripe is supplied without a lampshade. This is one of its most useful characteristics: the ceramic base can be paired with a shade selected separately to create the desired overall look.
In a living room, Stripe can be used on a side table or console, while in a bedroom it can sit on a bedside or other furnishing surface. The final scale and appearance of the complete lamp will also depend on the chosen shade.
This flexibility makes Stripe particularly useful when the lamp base itself suits the interior but the shade needs to coordinate with an existing colour palette or furnishing style.
Replaceable E27 bulb
Stripe uses one E27 lamp holder with a maximum rating of 60 W. The bulb is not included. The replaceable format lets you choose the final luminous output and colour temperature according to the room and the shade selected for the lamp.
The power switch is positioned on the cord. With both the bulb and shade selected separately, Stripe provides a simple ceramic base that can be completed to suit the intended use and interior.
