The Play Table Lamp is designed for interiors where colour is allowed to take a visible role. Its base is built from differently coloured ceramic elements in turquoise, white, pink and rose, creating a layered composition with plenty of personality. A light fabric shade balances the colourful base and gives the lamp the familiar proportions of a classic table light.
At 65 cm high, Play is a substantial table lamp. It works best on a surface with enough space for both the decorative ceramic base and the 35 × 25 cm shade to remain clearly visible.
Multicoloured ceramic defines the Play design
The lamp base combines turquoise, white, pink and rose ceramic elements. The individual colours remain clearly visible and create a playful rhythm through the structure.
Ceramic gives the base a strong material presence, while the fabric shade introduces a softer surface above it. This contrast helps the colourful base remain the focal point without making the complete lamp feel overly busy.
Play works particularly well where a neutral furniture palette needs one more expressive decorative element, or where the lamp can pick up colours already used elsewhere in the room.
Fabric shade softens the illumination
The Play shade is made from fabric and measures 35 cm wide and 25 cm deep. Its generous size creates a clearly defined upper section in relation to the 65 cm overall height.
The fabric filters the light more softly than an exposed bulb. Its dimensions also help spread illumination around the lamp, making Play useful for ambient lighting as well as reading or other light tasks.
The lamp can be placed on a side table, chest, console or desk where sufficient space is available for the shade.
E27 bulb lets you choose the final light
Play uses one E27 lamp holder rated for a maximum of 40 W. The bulb is not included.
The replaceable E27 format lets you choose the final luminous output and colour temperature according to the room and surrounding lighting. A warmer bulb complements the soft textile shade, while a more neutral colour temperature creates a fresher light appearance.
The E27 base and maximum 40 W rating should be observed when selecting the light source.
A colourful accent for living, work and children’s spaces
Play works as both a practical light and a clearly visible decorative object. In a living room it adds colour to a side table or cabinet, in a home office it can brighten the visual character of a desk, and in a children’s room its multicoloured ceramic base becomes part of the room’s playful interior.
The power switch is positioned on the cord for straightforward everyday use. Its 65 cm height should be considered when positioning the lamp beneath shelves or other structures above the furnishing surface.
