Tripla is designed around three overlapping fabric shade layers. Black, grey and white separate the layers visually, creating a more dimensional composition than a conventional single-piece fabric shade. At 50 cm in diameter, the pendant has enough scale to become a noticeable part of the room, while its 30 cm height keeps the proportions broad rather than tall.
Three fabric layers define the Tripla design
The name Tripla is reflected directly in the construction: the shade consists of three distinct layers. Black, grey and white are combined within one fixture, giving the pendant a clearly tiered appearance instead of one continuous colour surface.
Fabric gives the pendant a softer visual character than an all-metal shade. It also filters light passing through the material and reduces the dominance of the exposed bulb when the fixture is viewed from the side.
The neutral combination of black, grey and white makes the pendant easy to coordinate with both light and darker interior surfaces. There are no separate colour variations; all three shades are part of the same Tripla design.
Broad proportions for living spaces
Tripla measures 50 cm in diameter and 30 cm high. The width gives the pendant a clear presence in a living room, bedroom or kitchen, while the relatively low shade structure avoids creating an excessively long vertical element.
The three-layer construction also gives a single pendant more visual depth than a simple one-piece shade. This makes Tripla useful where one ceiling fixture is intended to provide both light and a defined decorative element.
Its 50 cm diameter should be considered when choosing the position, allowing enough open space around the shade for its layered form to remain clearly visible.
Select the light with a replaceable E27 bulb
Tripla uses one E27 lamp holder with a maximum rating of 60 W. The bulb is not included, allowing the final colour temperature and luminous output to be selected according to the room and surrounding lighting.
With a fabric shade, a warmer-colour bulb can support softer living and bedroom lighting, while the output can be selected according to how much practical light is required from the pendant.
The replaceable E27 format also makes it easy to change the light source later without replacing the fixture itself.
Three-metre adjustable suspension
Tripla has a 3-metre adjustable cord. The generous length makes it possible to adapt the pendant to different ceiling heights and also allows installation in taller rooms.
The fixture uses ceiling-hook mounting, and the Finnish product configuration includes a luminaire plug. The final hanging height can therefore be adjusted in relation to the ceiling height and any furniture positioned below the pendant.
