At 60 cm in diameter, the fitting is large enough to create a visible lighting feature in the room while keeping the overall design restrained. Memphis measures 60 cm in diameter and 35 cm in height. The broad downward-opening shade gives the pendant a clearly recognisable classic silhouette and makes it a noticeable part of the room. Its size is particularly worth considering when the pendant is positioned above a table or other furniture.
The 60 cm diameter gives Memphis more visual weight than a pendant with a small shade. It therefore works naturally as a single ceiling light where one fitting is intended to create a clear focal point.
E27 fitting leaves the light-source choice open
Memphis takes one E27 bulb with a maximum wattage of 60 W. The bulb is not included, allowing a suitable light source to be selected separately. This gives flexibility over the final amount and character of light according to the chosen E27 bulb.
The replaceable format also makes future bulb changes straightforward. Memphis is not tied to the technical characteristics of an integrated LED module, allowing a compatible E27 bulb to be selected within the specified maximum wattage.
Three finishes for the same classic shape
Memphis is available in three options: white, black and sand linen. The white version creates a light and restrained appearance, while the black model gives the shade a stronger outline within the room. Sand linen introduces a more natural-toned alternative.
Because the form itself is simple, the shade finish has a strong effect on the overall appearance. The same 60 cm structure can therefore be used either as a lighter, quieter ceiling feature or as a darker, more defined element.
