Timber uses the visual character of wood in a metal construction. Both the shade and base have a wood-patterned metal finish, while the black stem provides a clear visual break between them. The result brings a warm wood effect into the lamp without presenting the fixture itself as a wooden product.
At 42 cm high, Timber is suited to a range of furnishing surfaces. Its 27 cm diameter gives the upper section enough presence to be clearly visible without turning the lamp into an oversized table fixture.
Wood-patterned metal defines the design
The most distinctive feature of Timber is its wood-patterned metal finish. It appears on both the shade and the base, giving the two elements a consistent visual connection. The black stem between them creates a strong vertical line and keeps the composition clearly structured.
The wood pattern introduces the appearance of a natural material while retaining metal as the actual construction material of the shade and base.
The inside of the shade is white. Viewed from below or from the side, this pale surface creates a visible contrast with the wood-patterned exterior and black stem.
Integrated LED is part of the fixture
Timber has an integrated 12 W LED light source, which is included as part of the lamp. There is no separate replaceable E27 or GU10 bulb to select. The colour temperature is 3200 K.
This warm white colour temperature works naturally with the wood-effect surfaces and supports Timber’s role as a furnishing-level light source. The lamp can be placed where both illumination and a visible decorative element are wanted.
Because the LED is integrated, Timber’s key lighting specification remains consistent: 12 W power and 3200 K colour temperature.
White shade interior creates a clear contrast
From the outside, the shade follows the same warm wood-patterned finish as the base. Its interior is white, creating a second surface that becomes especially noticeable when the shade is viewed from below.
The black stem works as a neutral link between the two wood-patterned elements. Timber’s visual palette is therefore built around three clearly defined features: wood-patterned metal, a black stem and a white shade interior.
The power switch is positioned on the cord, keeping everyday operation simple and familiar.
