Minihoney Spot is designed for situations where the versatility of 3-phase track lighting is wanted in a more compact spotlight format. Its restrained size helps keep the fixture visually discreet, allowing attention to remain on the illuminated area rather than the luminaire itself. This makes Minihoney particularly suitable for offices and homes where a larger retail-style track spotlight could feel unnecessarily dominant.
The integrated LED, defined beam angle and high colour rendering make its lighting performance straightforward to specify. TRIAC dimming adds further control when the light level needs to change for different situations.
A compact spotlight for 3-phase track systems
Minihoney mounts to a 3-phase track using its adapter. A track system allows several luminaires to share the same track rather than requiring an individual ceiling connection for every spotlight.
Minihoney is smaller than typical spotlights designed for retail interiors, which makes its proportions well suited to more compact environments. It can therefore provide focused track lighting without introducing an unnecessarily large fixture into the space.
The spotlight is available in matt black and matt white. Both versions have identical lighting specifications, allowing the colour to be selected according to the track and surrounding interior. Black creates a more graphic appearance, while white can integrate more quietly with a light-coloured ceiling and track.
Focused light from a 30-degree beam
The lens has a 30° beam angle. This creates a deliberately focused beam rather than broad general illumination, making Minihoney suitable where light needs to be directed towards a defined area or object.
The integrated 10 W LED produces 810 lumens. Its colour temperature is 3000 K, providing warm white light. Using the same 3000 K specification across several Minihoney spots also helps maintain a consistent colour appearance throughout a track-lighting installation.
Colour rendering is CRI > 90. High colour rendering is particularly useful in accent lighting, where surfaces, objects and their colours should appear natural under the light.
TRIAC dimming for adjustable light levels
Minihoney Spot is TRIAC dimmable. With a compatible installation, the output can therefore be adjusted without changing the fixture’s 3000 K colour temperature or 30° optics. The recommended dimmer is Schneider Exxact WDE002299.
Dimming is useful where the same track lighting needs to support different lighting levels. The output can be increased when stronger focused light is required and reduced when a softer level is more appropriate.
The LED is integrated and included, so no separate bulb is required. Power, luminous flux, colour temperature, beam angle and colour rendering are all defined as part of the luminaire itself.
Removable anti-glare shield and two neutral finishes
Minihoney includes a removable anti-glare shield. It forms part of the spotlight construction but can be removed when required, providing additional flexibility in how the luminaire is configured.
The simple form and two neutral finishes support Minihoney’s role as part of a track-lighting system. Product number 17610-05 is matt black and 17610-06 is matt white, with the same technical lighting specifications in both versions.
