Lighting Design<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Lighting design is a core competence of the Gr\u00f6nlund Design Team. We design luminaires both for the Design by Gr\u00f6nlund collection and for a wide range of project-based applications. <\/span>We create custom-designed and functional luminaires for hotels, ships, cruise vessels, shopping centers, retail environments and other public spaces. <\/span>We have been designing lighting since 1981 and have developed a process that combines design, functionality and energy-efficient solutions. Our goal is to create luminaires that meet our clients\u2019 needs while enhancing the space with both light and visual refinement. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Gr\u00f6nlund Design Team<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At the heart of the Gr\u00f6nlund Design Team beats a passion for creating unique lighting fixtures that not only illuminate a space but also add style and individuality to it. Our goal is to enrich people’s lives by offering lighting that reflects the owners’ personality and the sophistication of their decor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every design we create is a carefully considered combination of easy-to-install functionality and robust construction, using only the best materials that are both physically and ecologically sustainable. We aim to craft lighting fixtures that not only meet the lighting needs of a space but also enhance its aesthetic value. When selecting surface materials, we start with a broad palette of colors and materials, conducting thorough testing before making final choices to ensure that each of our fixtures meets the demands of various interior design solutions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our design team, composed of experts in product design and electrical engineering, combines decades of experience with an innovative design process that begins with traditional pencil-and-paper sketches. This creative phase generates new and exciting ideas, which are further refined using advanced 3D modeling software<\/a>. The final, polished appearance of a lighting fixture is achieved through 3D design<\/a> and photorealistic renderings, with a prototype created before production begins. This allows us to fine-tune the product to its final form. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Project Design<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Gr\u00f6nlund Design Team doesn\u2019t just create lighting fixtures; we shape light itself. Our own Design by Gr\u00f6nlund lighting collection is merely the tip of the iceberg, as our team also designs custom lighting fixtures for a wide variety of projects – from hotels and restaurants to the luxurious spaces of ocean liners, trains, and lavish yachts. Whether it\u2019s a store, shopping center, retail shop, brick-and-mortar store, or gym; we possess the skill and experience to execute visionary lighting design that perfectly meets the client\u2019s needs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our process begins when a client presents their idea, whether as a drawing, a sketch, or a verbal description. From that moment forward, our Design Team embraces the challenge, designing a purpose-fit, visually compelling lighting fixture. We present our proposal to the client through modern 3D visualizations<\/a>, presentations, and videos, offering them the opportunity to provide detailed feedback. Through an intensive design process and dialogue, we continue working until we achieve a result that fulfills the client\u2019s expectations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afterwards, we offer a competitive quote, and upon acceptance, we begin the manufacture of a prototype. The production and delivery of the lighting fixtures are initiated following the client\u2019s approval, taking into consideration that although our design process is flexible and swift, production and transportation times need to be accounted for. Every project presents us with an opportunity to bring light and beauty to spaces, creating customized lighting fixtures that reflect Gr\u00f6nlund\u2019s commitment to quality and individuality. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
