Description
Designed by Karl-Erik Grönlund, Acoustic Circulo is created for interiors where lighting and acoustic comfort both matter. Its circular form creates a strong yet simple visual element, while the integrated acoustic felt panel adds a practical sound-absorbing function. Instead of treating lighting and acoustics as entirely separate elements, Acoustic Circulo brings both into a single ceiling-mounted design. The sound-absorbing properties of the felt have been tested under laboratory conditions.

Lighting and acoustic comfort in one design
The acoustic panel is an integral part of Acoustic Circulo rather than an added decorative feature. This makes the pendant particularly relevant in spaces where hard surfaces or an open layout place greater demands on the acoustic environment. The felt panel allows the luminaire itself to contribute to sound absorption while remaining a visible part of the interior.
Colour can also be used to adapt the acoustic panel to its surroundings. Standard options include white, light grey, dark grey and black, ranging from understated tones to stronger visual contrast. For projects requiring a more specific colour scheme, Gabriel Eurospot 2 colours are available to special order.
Circular LED lighting with even illumination
The LEDs are positioned around Acoustic Circulo’s circular frame, distributing light evenly around the luminaire without direct glare towards the viewer. The LED light source is integrated into the fitting, so no separate bulbs are required.
Two colour temperatures are available. The 3000 K option provides a warmer white light, while 4000 K gives a more neutral white appearance. TRIAC dimming allows the light level to be adjusted with a compatible dimmer, making it easier to adapt the illumination to different activities and times of day. DALI control is also available as an optional extra for installations that use a DALI lighting control system.
Adapt the size, colour and light to the space
Acoustic Circulo comes in three size options, allowing the visual scale of the pendant to be matched to different interiors and applications. The larger versions also provide higher LED output, so the choice can take both the physical scale of the fitting and the required level of illumination into account.
Adjustable suspension cables provide flexibility when setting the installation height, while the fitting is secured to the ceiling with screw mounting. Acoustic Circulo is well suited to interiors where a single pendant is expected to provide effective LED lighting, adjustable output and a visible acoustic element within the same design.
